I am proud of my Dutch heritage, my Midwestern roots and my home State of Iowa.
 
Growing up there instilled a sense of doing the right thing even when it isn't easy. 

 

Who doesn't know the fable of the little Dutch Boy who plugged a hole in the dike with his finger and saved his whole country? I'm probably not going to make America great again all by myself, but I do believe that I can make your technology lifestyle quite a bit smoother and more enjoyable!

 

Our traditional CAN-DO spirit says, we have to remain vigilant and continually learn how to respond to disaster more rapidly. We must be there to react and make a fix in the heat of the moment. That's all good and well intentioned, but simply always makes for a negative result for everyone involved.

 

Dutch - American wisdom teaches us that if we prepare, make adjustments and maintain carefully, we probably won't have to deal with those continuous disasters at all. It will certainly lower the chances of something major catching us off gaurd hours before that big party next Saturday night.

I greatly admire the Goettl A/C guy from the radio ads, Ken Goodrich.

 

I too have a good flashlight story.

 

As a kid, I spent many nights “checking doors” with my Police Chief father in a small Iowa town in the early ‘70s. It seems quaint looking back, but we (he) would rattle every door of every business in town every night after closing time to make sure that they were locked up tight. Kind of gave the old cliché of a small town rolling up the streets after dark real meaning. We were good going down the series of front doors on Main St. under the street lights, but it was in the alleys where he would pull his flashlight off his belt and hand it to me to light the way. It was definitely a small thing that may have only prevented "disaster" just a few times in all those years, but it made a deep impact on me to know that he took that time every night to ensure that “his town” was secured, that stayed with me.

 

My promise to you, my client, my new friend, is to always be fair in my dealings with you. I am not absolutely perfect and neither are the systems or components that we will provide to you, a certain percentage of everything will fail eventually, even me. I'll take responibility if things don't go as planned. I'll stand behind my work and that of my associates. Please be a little patient, we may make mistakes, but we will do the right thing and I will make it up to you. I'll never give up or give in to any temptation to cut a corner, skimp on a material or do something half-way. I will ensure that you receive honest value and the highest performance available anywhere for the hard earned dollars that you spend with us.
 
I am constantly amazed at how cool the systems that we provide and care for turn out.
